User Creation and Hierarchy Assignment Guide- Maker & Checker process
This help doc outlines the steps and features for creating users and assigning hierarchies in the URVA system, their approvals from admins and hierarchy managers.
Manual User Creation and Hierarchy Assignment
Create a User Manually
- While creating a user, assign the same hierarchy that is already assigned to you.
- This hierarchy can be directly assigned during the user creation process.
Proceed to Approval
- Once the user is created and hierarchy is assigned, the newly created id immediately moves to the checker 9 either admin or direct reporting ) for approval, eliminating delays.
Filter for Users Without Hierarchy
- Use the default filter to easily identify users who do not yet have an assigned hierarchy.
Hierarchy Admin and Approval Process
Assigning Roles to Hierarchy Admins
- When a role is designated as a hierarchy admin for a specific organization in the hierarchy module, they are responsible for approving users in the same assigned territory.
Approval Notifications
- Approval requests are sent via nudges to hierarchy admins in the same territory as the newly created user.
Approving Users
- Hierarchy admins can review and approve users within their territory directly from the nudge notification.
Bulk User Creation and Territory Assignment
Bulk User Creation
- During bulk user creation, territories cannot be assigned immediately.
Assign Territories
- Use the Bulk Territory Assignment feature to assign territories to multiple users after the bulk creation process. Accordingly the requests for approval will be sent to Reporting or Hierarchy Admin.
