View & Set Communication Preferences for users
Essentially, we use this module to send email notifications or SMS messages to particular user regarding the daily activities which they are following.
- Info - The info tab template is fixed, any change in it will be effective for all the URVA users.
- Platform - Here should be SMS or Email notifications.
- Roles - Select the roles to assign these nudges.
- Status- From here user can enable the selected Nudges.
To enable "Communication preferences" based on the user's role, please follow the steps below: -
- From the URVA home page, Click on the "Admin Settings" option.
- Click the "Nudges" module under the "Automation" section.
- Click on "System Nudges".
- Choose the specific nudge that you want to send to the user, and then click on the "View" option for that nudge.
- Under the "Info" section, review the notification and SMS content that will be sent to the user.
- Click on "Platform" and select the appropriate platform for sending the notification and SMS.
- Click on "Roles" and select the role as per your requirements.
- Click on "Status" and make sure the nudge is enabled.
- Finally, click on the "Submit" button.
After completing the above steps, please proceed to enable "Communication Preferences" for a specific user by following the steps below: -
- From the URVA home page, Click on the "Users" module under the "Identity Management" section.
- Pick the specific user and open their details by clicking on the user profile.
- Click on the "Communication Preferences" under the "Other" section.
- In the "Communication Preferences" section, you should see a list of enabled nudges.
- Click on the checkbox. This action will activate the nudge for the selected user.
- Click on the "Update".
