Task pdf summary trigger via email
This trigger ensures that when a task is completed and moved to a specific stage, an automated email is sent to the customer. The email includes task details, a PDF summary, and an audio recording link (if available), keeping the customer informed.
Steps to Enable Automated Email Notification
Go to Admin Settings
- From the home page, navigate to Admin Settings.
- Locate and open the Triggers.
Create a Trigger (click here to know more)
- Under Triggers, select the stage that will trigger the email (e.g., Completed).
Set Up Email Action
- Under Action, select Email, template and then receiver as customer.
- Select the field in the task form where customer email address will be available.
Select Attachments:
- Enable Attachments toggle. Then select the attachment type as pdf.
- Next, select the pdf that you want to share via email.
Save and Enable Automation
- Save the trigger to enable automation of sending email when a task is moved into a specific stage.
How Customers Receive the Email
- When the task moves to the Completed stage, the system triggers an email.
- The email includes:
- Task details (as filled in the form).
- A PDF summary attachment.
- The customer can review the details.
