Use the Geo-Fencing Feature for Media Capture
This document explains how to use the geo-fencing feature for the media capture field in URVA forms. This feature allows you to specify a radius around a location where image capture is allowed, providing more control over media collection.
Follow the steps mentioned below to enable it:
- Access the Activity form from Activities under Admin Settings from where you want to implement geo-fencing for media capture.
- Under Add-Ons, go to Location Checks. Click on Geo Fence on Media tab.
- Select the Stage on which geo fence will be configured. Use the toggle switch to turn the geo-fencing feature On or Off.
- Select the Media fields to enable geo fence and then choose the source field of address- Contact Address or Form Address. Then select the respective address field.
- Now you will see an option to define the radius around the location. Enter a custom radius for the geo-fence.
- When geo-fencing is enabled, media capture is restricted within the defined geo-fence area.
- If someone tries to capture media outside the allowed area, the system will display an error message: "Media capture is restricted to the planned location only.
