Create a Workflow

A workflow is the sequence of processes through which a task (a piece of work) passes from initiation to completion. In simple words, a workflow is a set of different stages of a task. To know more about a workflow, (click here).

Create a workflow following these steps:

  1. From URVA home page, go to Admin Settings then click  Activities sub-module.
  2. Click on the territory for which you want to create a workflow
  3. Click on Workflow'. 
  4. Click +New Stage to add a new stage in workflow.
  5. A new stage will appear. Right click on it to edit the properties. 
  6. Enter State TitleType, background and text color for the stage,
  7. Enter Forward and backward stage with label. (Treat backward button as exit from task- Select it if there is no backward stage)
  8. Give permissions access for the stage and click SAVE.
  9. Now add a second stage and then connect the previous stage to new stage as shown in the picture.
  10. Create different stages as requirement in the same way.
  11. After completing the stages, go to form and click SAVE.
  12. The workflow will be created. as per y

Note: To update or change permissions for any stage, follow the same steps.



Add transitions between the stages:

  1. Open workflow, and click on the connecting link between the two stages in which you want to add transition or restrictions for stage movement.
